Therapy intensives

More time for focused work.

Six hours in one day, or twelve hours across two days, online, for adults in California and Nebraska.

Why a longer format

A regular session starts and stops within the hour. In an intensive there's time to settle in, stay with one focus for longer, rest, and come back to it the same day.

An intensive can sit alongside regular sessions or stand on its own. We'll talk about whether it suits what you want to work on, and whether another kind of support would serve you better.

Two formats

One day

Six-hour intensive

$1,500

A single day with time to set a focus, work in longer blocks with breaks between them, and close with reflection and next steps.

A possible shape of the day

We agree on the exact schedule, including breaks, before the day.

Two days

Twelve-hour intensive

$2,200

Two days make room to begin a focus, rest overnight, and return to it, with time on the second day to reflect and plan what comes next.

Day one
Day two

We agree on the exact schedule, including breaks, before the first day.

Before an intensive

  1. A consultation

We talk about what you want to focus on and whether a longer format is a good idea right now.

  2. Planning together

We choose a focus, the approaches we might use, what helps you settle, and how the time and breaks will run.

  3. The intensive

You join by video from a private space. Afterwards we talk about what support you want next.

Questions worth asking

Is an intensive right for everyone?

No. For some people and some kinds of work, regular sessions are the better choice. That's exactly what the consultation is for, and I'll tell you what I think.

What happens during the day?

It depends on the focus we plan together. Usually there's time to settle in, blocks of focused work, real breaks, and time at the end to reflect and talk about next steps.

Where do intensives happen?

Online. You join from a private space in California or Nebraska with a reliable connection.

What should I have ready?

A quiet room where you won't be interrupted, a charged device, water, and food for the breaks. We'll go through anything else during planning.

Talk about the focus before the format.

We can work out together whether an intensive makes sense.
